There are many people to thank who supported me so much on this dark and lonely road. I want to publicly acknowledge them here.
Gerry Hayden: you are a man of integrity and honesty. You saw the truth a long time ago, you campaigned so well, worked tirelessly and worked with grace and love. You motivated me, inspired me, supported me and encouraged me when I was down. Thank you Gerry.
Mike and Gem and Mel: you showed me that you respected us and valued us highly enough to listen and learn. I will never forget that. Thank you for your friendship that has deepened so much through this difficult time.
Mary: you are a beautiful woman and a voice of compassion and love for me. Continually telling me I was doing well and spurring me on. I thank you.
Lee and Benj: for seeing the truth and conducting yourselves with the utmost integrity and encouraging me to keep going. You have engaged and debated with people with the utmost dignity, gentleness and kindness. Well done you have been faithful.
James: for being there to support me and others in their shock on that awful day after the referendum. You have conducted yourself with the utmost integrity, gentleness, wisdom and love all along. You speak the truth in love and are not afraid to take on the fight against tolerance at the expense of truth. For that I highly respect you.
Nick: for making me get involved, for tirelessly provoking those around you to wake up and think. You posted controversial topics, you tagged people, you mercilessly pushed us out of our slumber to get engaged. You've done a brilliant job and I respect you. Well done!
Beryl: for liking my Facebook posts when no one else was (Gaye: you also did that too). That was like an angel of light on a dark day. Thank you and thank you for being proud of me.
Martin and Colin: for passionately believing in your vote. For putting yourself forward and not staying silent. You stuck to your convictions and engaged in the debate so boldly. I admire you and thank you.
Allison Pearson and Tim Stanley: journalists of integrity that continuously gave me hope on Twitter that intelligent people could believe to leave was the decent, compassionate and right thing to do. You have conducted yourselves with wisdom, integrity and compassion. Well done.
Caroline, Sarah, Helen, Fiona, Ruth, Nick, Angus and many more: You have debated and engaged in this. I respect you all very much, to engage was honourable. Thank you for your friendship that's above all of this.
Kate: we have tussled our way through this mess. You have challenged me, provoked me, infuriated me, protected me and loved me. You are a wonderful sister and friend and I'm so lucky to have you.
Mum: thank you for all your help once you saw the truth. You have guided me and helped me at the final stage of all of this. You were here at just the right time. Thank you for your wisdom and common sense. You are an amazing lady.
Lastly to my husband who I admire, love and respect more than anyone else in this world: You are a man of integrity and honesty. You are well read, informed and understand so much more about the political situation than me. You've put up with me through this strange and curious time, listened to me and taught me. We have debated and discussed for hours. You saw the truth years ago and it took me a long time to catch up, I'm so glad I did as we united in this mission. Thank you for believing in me and loving me so well.
